Tutorials
We offer 45-minute tutorial appointments for individuals. You can schedule an appointment or a series of appointments to confer with a Writing Center tutor about your writing. Having a conversation about writing is not only an excellent and highly effective way to learn about writing but it can also relieve writers of the anxiety that the act of writing can produce. During face-to-face tutorials, tutors will help you build a better plan for approaching your writing assignment and work with you to solve your problems in a comfortable and supportive atmosphere. Each session is a collaborative effort in which the writer is in an active dialogue with the tutor.
